Responsible tourism: Trends in Indian tourism sector
The significant difference in trends of tourism in recent years has been raising interest of people in visiting exotic local people with normal resources all-around. This is primarily on account of two reasons, initial, that the individuals are becoming more and more environment conscious and second, it does not only helps to keep the attractions in their original shapes and factors which in turn helps the neighborhood population as well, to receive totally engaged and boost their employability.
The above mentioned reasons possess given rise to the idea of Responsible tourism, which has required the many industrial sectors and companies in the travel and leisure centered countries to adjust it because their main goal in global tourism. India is no exception and belonging to the biggest travel and leisure destinations in Asia using its large biodiversity, breathtaking landscapes, mountain trace, national leisure areas, heritage sites, have started out promoting Accountable tourism really big way and govt as well as other specialists and companies are giving their total support for this trend.

The present study is aimed to examine the initiative taken by the government and players in the tourism sector on the Accountable Tourism and other related areas like Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism, to analyze the present developments in the tourism sector in more detail and advise the best possible practices to enhance the scope of responsible tourism in reality.

The modern world is characterized by mass concentrations of folks, mass production, and mass activities, Diversity and splendor of property and lifestyle are more and more replaced by simply uniformity and high-rise constructions all around. Human being settlements inside their mad rush for expansion have converted beautiful tree-clad landscapes in to desolate tangible jungles, and fertile royaume with various native plants are significantly destroyed by monocultures. Travel and leisure is no exception to this general rule, seeing that there are fiel and complex links among Ecological and Environmental conditions of the vacation spot areas (and often far off places, but supplying assets to the tourist areas) and tourism actions. These links have to be recognized and appreciated before we initiate/expand any kind of tourism activity. Ecotourism concentrates on local ethnicities, wilderness journeys, volunteering, personal growth and learning new ways to live upon our vulnerable planet. It is typically understood to be travel to places where the botanica, fauna, and cultural heritage are the primary attractions. Liable ecotourism contains programs that minimize the adverse effects of traditional travel on the natural environment, and enhance the cultural ethics of residents. Therefore , in addition to assessing environmental and cultural elements, initiatives simply by hospitality services to promote taking, energy performance, water re-use and making the most of the usage of organic products and the creation of economic opportunities intended for local neighborhoods are an integral part of ecotourism.
Traditional, biological and cultural conservation, preservation, sustainable development and so forth are some of the fields carefully related to Ecotourism.
