1 . Introduction – Photocopied company profile

Xerox Company is the world's leading management company. The organization is production and providing printers, digital printing pushes and systems, photo copiers and related supplies. Photocopied started to increase rapidly between 1960 and 1970. Inside the mid 1980's Apple decided to buy Xerox but the offer finally would not happen. Xerox sued Apple for robbing and featuring a graphical user interface on the Macintosh computers but the circumstance was dismissed. In the 1990's Xerox recovered and ongoing to increase by selling good quality products and started to be a sixteen billion dollars market head digital business by now. (xerox. com, 2007)1

2 . Cultural Responsibility

Joseph McGuire, in 1963, stated that " social responsibilities supposes which the corporation hasn't only monetary and legal obligations, although also selected responsibilities to society” [p. 144]. It means that Xerox being a manufacturer, " plays a crucial role in influencing the sustainability of your environment”. (xerox. com, 2007)2

Types of social duties:

-Economic tasks: produce goods and services

that society would like,

-Legal obligations: laws and regulations beneath business is expected to run,

-Ethical duties: responsibilities anticipated by contemporary society, -Discretionary tasks: voluntary duties. (University of Utah, 2007)

The cultural responsibilities of Photocopied investigated through this report are legal and discretionary tasks. Xerox provides achieved higher level of cultural responsibilities in recycling, creating waste-free products and improving environment with associates, suppliers and customers. Items have to fulfill certain statutory requirements and also Xerox voluntarily makes extra work to develop new environmentally friendly techniques and items. (Xerox. com, 2007)2
